Hairstylist
Originally from Tampa, Florida, Adiel moved to the Piedmont Triad area in 2024, where he found his new salon home at Alkali. While he may be new to North Carolina, he’s definitely not new to doing hair. He’s been a professional stylist since 2007.

Adiel graduated from Paul Mitchell the School Tampa in 2007 and completed the Toni & Guy Cutting Specialist Program in 2008. Speaking of Toni & Guy, they were one of Adiel’s main inspirations for becoming a hairstylist, but the biggest draw was individual creative freedom. To Adiel, every client is a work of art.

One of Adiel’s favorite hair services is doing makeover haircuts. A great cut makes a huge difference in a person’s appearance and vibe and he loves the satisfaction he and his clients get from a haircut transformation. If he could give anyone a makeover cut, he’d bypass all celebrities and choose someone less fortunate, who’d truly benefit from the entire experience.

When it comes to products, he loves Davines Texturizing Spray for its light matte, touchable finish and moderate hold.
The most challenging (and satisfying) hair emergency fix Adiel’s corrected was a haircut gone very wrong. His own worst hairstyle was a 90s bowl cut given to him by his mom (oof). Out of all the styles he’s had, he prefers his hair long. Not because of bowl cut traumatization—though that probably didn’t help—but because it fits him best.

Adiel works well with all types of clients, but you’ll really hit it off if you’re laid back, open-minded, and enjoy deep conversation. When he’s not in the salon, Adiel spends much of his spare time writing music, going to concerts, enjoying nature, and adding to his guitar collection.

Testimonials
It’s been quite a while since I went to a proper salon, and I was not disappointed with Adiel We chatted before he started cutting, and I received an excellent, more modern hairstyle. He worked his magic and did a blowout, but I will also be able to wear it in its natural wavy state.
"Adiel was amazing. Love my cut! He took his time, I never felt rushed. He even talked me through styling it so I could replicate at home. I rebooked and can’t wait till next time. thanks to Amber for her recommendation."
"Adiel was wonderful, a good listener prior to starting services. He offered suggestions and did a great job."
