Hannah was born and raised in the Winston-Salem/Piedmont Triad area. Her love for hair began while still in grade school, and luckily, all of her friends were willing guinea pigs for her passion. From dance competitions to formal sorority banquets, Hannah styled all her friends’ hair and she loved every minute of it. Still, it wasn’t until several years after graduating that she seriously considered cosmetology as a career. In 2018, she enrolled in Leon’s Beauty School, and knew right away that she made the right decision.

Since graduating from cosmetology school, Hannah has become experienced in hair styling, cutting, and coloring. She started her career at AIR by Alkali in July of 2019, where she’s been able to grow and showcase her talents as a stylist. Hannah’s absolute favorite service is coloring, as it is such a personal and individualized process. She loves how, in just one visit, a client’s look can be taken to the next level by dramatic color transformations or by even the subtlest of color differences.

Hannah’s go-to products are Oribe’s Creme For Style and Thick Dry Finishing Spray. She likes the flexibility of Creme For Style, as it produces great results and is suitable for any hair type, and she loves the added volume and texture that Thick Dry Finishing Spray provides. As for styling tools, Hannah recommends using a good blow dryer with a heat concentrator nozzle above anything else. Just this one tool can make a huge difference when styling your hair at home.

When she’s not doing hair, Hannah enjoys spending time with her son and going out with friends. She loves to shop and is a big fan of all types of music. If there’s a live music event in the area, it’s a good bet you’ll find Hannah there!
