Craft Hairdresser

Originally from Bellaire, Ohio, Megan moved to North Carolina in 2015 and has called Winston-Salem home sweet home ever since. She has always enjoyed doing hair. In fact, she was the person all her friends called on to make their hair look gorgeous for prom and parties. When she began college, Megan’s hair interests evolved, and she began experimenting with hair color. It’s no surprise, then, that in early 2018, her love for hair and beauty led her to become a professional stylist. 

While she enjoys all forms of cosmetology, she especially loves the instant gratification she (and her clients) receive from a new haircut. And if you happen to love big hair, you and Megan are a match made in heaven, because she does too—she’s always armed with a texturizing spray or two!

So, you know Megan loves hair! But what you may not know, is that she was an Army engineer before she became a stylist. But that’s not all. Megan’s also a competitive powerlifter! Needless to say, working the round brush on hair all day is nothing to this girl! Another thing you may not know about Megan is that she’s a music lover—pretty much any music will get her moving. In her free time, she enjoys bringing out another part of her creative side by crafting and crocheting, and she also likes to travel.

When asked about her most challenging hair emergency she’s had to fix since she’s been doing hair, Megan mentions a 6-hour color correction from a box color gone super wrong—vivid green—and not green in a cool way! So, if you happen to need an emergency color fix (and we hope you don’t), you’ll know you’re in good hands with Megan.
