Antigona Cela

Craft Hairdresser

EHPAWB-91.jpg

Antigona is from Albania and has lived in the Winston Salem area since 2016. While she was always beauty obsessed, Ani didn’t realize she wanted to be a hairstylist until 2013, and then it just clicked. From there, she could think of nothing else she’d rather do.  In fact, it has been all she’s done since then!

Her favorite hair service is hair extensions. They can literally make all your hair dreams come true and she loves working with them. When it comes to products, her favorite is Royal Blowout because it speeds up drying time and protects your hair from heat. And if she could recommend any styling tool to every client, it'd be a good blow dryer—it makes a bigger difference than you can imagine!

Antigona’s favorite hairstyle was when she had Hollywood waves. But not just because of how it looked. Her hair matched her mannequin’s and the look won her the hair competition that day!  As far as bad haircuts are concerned, nothing can be worse than a bald look from when your dad attempts to cut your hair, right? Yeah, that happened to Ani. It might not have been a complete shave, though that might've turned out better…

When it comes to hair emergencies, she’s seen and fixed her fair share. But her most satisfying save was a wedding updo. No hair catastrophe could be worse than a terrible wedding day style. Ani swooped in and made sure the bride looked incredible and was photo ready on her most special day.

If she could give anyone a makeover, it would be Dua Lipa, mainly because she just doesn’t change her hair much and she’d love to give her a new look.

Besides making hair look fabulous, Ani also loves interior design and fashion design. In other words, she always loves making things (and especially people) look beautiful!

Hair tips:

Ani’s biggest hair tip is to use a quality product, especially shampoo and conditioner. She also recommends not washing your hair too often and to use heat protection when using styling tools.
