​Alkali Hair Studio is an inclusive, upscale salon proudly serving clients across the Piedmont Triad, including Winston-Salem, Clemmons, Lewisville, Kernersville, Advance, High Point, and Greensboro, North Carolina. Since opening in 2010, we’ve taken a holistic approach to beauty. We’re dedicated to producing gorgeous results and helping our clients maintain excellent hair, scalp, and skin health for optimal wellness.

  • 2010 

    • Founded/opened Alkali Hair Studio on Brookstown Ave

    • Opened salon carrying Aveda and R+Co product lines  and Aveda and Logics color

  • 2013

    • Brought on Oribe and phased out Aveda products​

  • 2014

    • ​Transitioned to Goldwell color

  • 2019

    • New website and brand colors​

  • 2020

    • First salon in Winston Salem to introduce gender-neutral pricing

    • Expanded and moved to new location on West End Blvd

    • Added skin care services and Environ products to Alkali

    • Became a carbon neutral salon and member of Green Circle Salons

  • 2021 

    • Phased out R+Co and brought on the Davines product line

    • Introduced progressive gender-neutral pricing
