Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Kasey has called Winston-Salem home for more than 25 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in Women Studies and has over 15 years of business management experience. That doesn’t mean Kasey doesn’t know a thing or two about hair, though. In fact, she’s also a licensed cosmetologist! While she chose to focus on a career in business, she has always been a tad (okay, maybe a lot) beauty obsessed. So, when she came to AIR by Alkali, she knew it was the perfect fit for her.
Not only does Kasey manage AIR and sister property Alkali Hair Studio, she's also AIR’s wedding concierge. She’s the person to talk to about all your beauty needs for your big day. Kasey’s expertise in the wedding and beauty industry will ensure your experience exceeds your expectations and that everything aligns with your vision.
When it comes to hair, Kasey loves how a beautiful blowout makes her feel more confident and at her best. This is another reason why AIR is the perfect “work home” for her. She believes in the beauty bar concept and loves seeing how happy the clients are when they leave the salon.
One of her favorite products is Oribe’s Serene Scalp Thickening Treatment Spray. She insists for anyone with fine hair like hers, it’s a life saver. She loves the volume and thickness it adds to her hair. When it comes to styles, one of her most favorite cuts was a pixie cut. Not because it was necessarily the best look for her, but because it was bold and empowering. Kasey’s always been one to “hide” behind her hair. She was proud of herself for having the courage to try out such a style and encourages others to embrace their natural beauty and experiment with their look—it can be truly life changing—except maybe a bowl cut. The one she had when she was six years old still gives her nightmares!
In her free time, Kasey loves to read—a lot! She’s also a huge punk music fan, adores her family, and won’t go anywhere without her mascara!
