Massage Therapist

Born in Winston Salem and raised in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, Toy has been a massage therapist since 2015. Her specialties include lymphatic drainage, reflexology, chakras, Himalayan hot salt stones, and fibromyalgia.

Toy realized she wanted to be a massage therapist in 1998 while working with exceptional-needs patients. She wanted to be able to help them with their discomfort and pain, and once she got into the profession, she fell in love with it. Her ideal client is one who trusts her to provide them with the best treatment for their needs. Toy's also great at reading the room. If clients want to talk during their massage, she follows their lead. If a client wants silence, she tells them to "go to their happy place, and she'll see them in an hour."

While she loves each aspect of her discipline, her absolute favorite services she provides are lymphatic drainage massages and reflexology. The results they provide are incredibly beneficial.

Toy's biggest personal body challenge was left shoulder cervical radiculopathy. She was unable to even raise her hand to do a handshake. She worked on it for months and is now 95% back to normal. One of her biggest massage successes with a client was when her client's physical therapist told him that whatever his massage therapist was doing, they should keep it up because they were making more progress than the physical therapy.

Of course, massage therapists need massages too! Toy's best massage experience as a client was with a therapist who actually listened to her and worked on her glutes enough to where she could move with no restriction. Because she's had experiences where therapists didn't listen, Toy makes it a priority to always listen to her clients so she can provide the best treatment and results for their unique needs.

When she's not in the spa melting away your stress and aches and pains, Toy enjoys traveling to different states with her motorcycle club. She also loves to read, swim, and going to the beach.
