Harleigh Brewer

Harleigh was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and now lives in Pfafftown. She's always enjoyed doing her siblings' hair, but during the pandemic, she started experimenting more with hair color, which inspired her to pursue hair as a career. She graduated in 2026 and found her perfect hair home at Alkali.

While she loves talkative clients, Harleigh equally enjoys silent appointments where her clients can just relax or work while getting their hair done. Her favorite service is highlighting. She loves that it's so customizable and that there are so many different techniques you can use to achieve different results.

When it comes to personal styles, Harleigh's hair gone wrong was when she decided to get a short red bob with straight-across chunky bangs. That was a big nope for her! And we all know how it is trying to grow out bangs! One of her favorite styles on herself is split dye hair. It's such a fun look that can really help you showcase your personality.

Her biggest hair challenge was during cosmetology school, when she had to correct color from a super bright green back to a natural brown.

On her personal time, you'll find Harleigh watching Grey's Anatomy, playing with makeup, taking walks at the park, or out shopping or at the gym.
