FAQ

FAQ

Why Does Alkali Have an Open Float Tank?

We chose an open float tank to ensure your comfort and to prevent feelings of claustrophobia. It's also beneficial for those struggling with severe PTSD. Rest assured, you still get all the benefits of sensory deprivation, as the float room is dark and quiet.

Are There Any Health Restrictions For Floating?

You may need to avoid floating if you have certain medical or skin conditions, such as kidney disease, open wounds, contagious diseases, and epilepsy. Please let us know if you have any medical concerns prior to scheduling your float appointment. We also recommend consulting with your doctor to ensure floating is safe for your specific condition(s).

How Do I Know Alkali's Float Tank is Sanitary?

We take cleanliness and sanitation very seriously. Our float tank is naturally antibacterial and contains 1,000 pounds of magnesium sulfate. Magnesium sulfate levels are closely monitored and replaced frequently to ensure our guests have a safe, clean environment.
