Responsibilities

• Be on time for shift and maintain consistent, regular attendance record

• Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves the salon

• Offer beverages and chat with clients waiting

• Answer the phone promptly and operate phone system accurately and efficiently

• Accurately book, change and cancel salon appointments  

• Facilitate books daily in accordance with policy and bring any stylist questions/issues to management. 

• Utilize salon computers with skill and proficiency; document guest information in electronic record as directed

• Answer questions on services and products via phone, email, or in person

• Maintain salon cleanliness & sanitation standards

• Includes regular laundering of salon materials throughout the day, back-of-house cleanliness and organization, and retail area organization 

• Inform clients on new services, discounts, & Treat Card benefits

• Inform, support, and enforce salon policies consistently

• Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability 

• Properly open and close salon according to Standard Operating Procedures

• Ensure that the check-in, check-out, and payment process is handled in accordance with salon policy

• Handle clients’ questions and concerns promptly, professionally and courteously, escalating to management on an as-needed basis

• Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests & messages by clients, ensuring complete guest satisfaction

• Ensure adequate stock of supplies and equipment; inform management when stock is low

• Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well-organized work area

• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment

• Regularly attend, participate in, and support trainings and staff meetings

• Assist in all areas of salon operation as requested by management

• Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the salon that require attention via official company communication channels

• Must be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-task

• Ability to be efficient and productive in a luxury, fast-paced environment

• Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills

• Excellent communication, listening and computer skills

• Must have evening and/or weekend availability 

• Must possess basic computer and cash handling knowledge
